    I think it is important that we refrain from destroying the reputations of these players. We should be able to support the alleged victim without concluding that the events transpired according to the statements made by the alleged victim to the police. It is important that we allow the legal process to work itself out. It is particularly disturbing that the District Attorney has chosen to try this case in the media. His motivation for doing so could be that he is running for reelection in May and his chief opponent is an African American.

    I liked your article, “Inventors of the World, Unite: A Call for Collective Action by Employee-Inventors.” I’m not sure where I stand on the issue of fairness, but I agree that employee-inventors make many personal sacrifices.
