  1. This campaign is becoming everything that’s bad about an intro civil rights, women’s studies, or race studies course. Can’t we move beyond who’s oppressed more and talk substance?

  2. “We” is the collective media and the candidates and their surrogates. And, to some extent, the American public who either a) eats up the media portrayal or b) provides fodder for the media with quotes to bolster their story of race v. sex.
