Unfortunatly, spreading falseness is a well-worn tactic and made all the more usefull by the willingness of people to believe things that they want to be true rather than question intellegently all things. The internets add speed, reach, and durability to such behavior, to all of our detriment. Be afraid, BE VERY AFRAID of being caught up in it!
