		<description>For me, the most amazing part of the decision was where it embraced the argument that discriminating against transsexuals is just like discriminating against religious converts. This seems to mean the decision rests on the idea that gender can be treated as a social group under the law. This sounds like a potentially radical shift for a lot of reasons.

For instance, I have plenty of friends who are genderqueer -they don&#039;t identify as men or women. Can they now be analogized to atheists? That makes forcing them to go in the men&#039;s restroom or the women&#039;s restroom look like sex discrimination. Giving them a gendered dress code also looks like sex discrimination: &quot;You don&#039;t identify as a man or a woman, but we&#039;re forcing you to do so to keep our customers happy.&quot;</description>
