I’ll be doing “voter protection” work tomorrow so blogging will be light.
Bessed are the volenteers. Those that make profits off the voting process are suspect from the get-go. One industry that should not involve any private entity. Maybe a good use for prison labor with neutral, bondable quality inspecters and multi-layered, multi-occasion testing before, during and after voting. To those that babble about the time or cost I SAY, “WHAT WILL YOU PAY FOR YOUR FREEDOMS?” The certifying of voting machines of ANY kind needs to be fail-safe, not slip-shod and as invisable or corruptable as it seems to be. Alas, tampering or faults have been a part of elections forever. POWER CORRUPTS, ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY. So too does the *quest* for power, it seems.
Ann et al, Gratias ago vos namque sic miros volo. Vos es optimus.
