Apparently, Tom Tancredo was disappointed that he hadn’t thought up the criticism about Judge Sotomayor’s love for Puerto Rican food, and went one better, referring to the National Council of La Raza as the KKK without nooses or hoods. See him spout his ignorance here..

The reactionary attacks on Sotomayor have long since passed stupid and are blazing new ground in monster raving loony land. While Tancredo’s entry is impressive, I still think that the clear winner in the “Best Display of Chutzpah By A Moral Cretin” category is John Yoo, while Newt Gingrich takes the blue ribbon in the “Kiss My Ass In Macy’s Window” category.
