If you are a Senator, Governor, ect, and are running for a office " NOT YOUR OWN " you should resign, and forfeit ALL pay, and allowances for that office in which you were elected. WHY ?? Because you are not doing it.. You are getting paid to do that job, not run around the country trying to get elected for something else... But then again this makes common sense...
