I think it’s awesome that they finally have a woman writing about a woman. And, I have to admit that I love that Wonder Woman exists. It’s nice to have a super hero who is not male, an alternative to Superman, if you will (whom I still enjoy, the last movie notwithstanding).
However, I also have to admit to mixed emotions in that Wonder Woman continues to perpetuate the idea that in order to be a hero, to be successful, one must emulate a man. Not that isn’t still largely true in society…
