When he shows attention and compassion to new member Rhonda Smith, Mary becomes consumed with jealousy and shoots Rhonda to death in January 2008. Enraged at her parents and desperate for freedom, Dorothy shoots her mother in the head and goes partying afterwards. She received a life sentence which was commuted in 2011, making her eligible for parole.
