“The feminist furor has finally passed”

That’s the title of this article, which touts Maureen Dowd as a “feminist authority.” (See also this). The author, Nathan Tabor “is a conservative political activist based in Kernersville, North Carolina.” And I feel like driving up there and toilet-papering his house. But that would be wrong.

It is not just about dragging yourself to the streets and yell clarion protests against inequality and discrimination. Feminism can either be BREAKING THE STEREOTYPES of our gender, or MAKING A DIFFERENCE in some ways.

However we embrace feminism, depends solely on the choices we make. We may be a democrat, activist, leftist etc., or simply a plain housewife. It doesn’t matter. What matters is we find fulfillment and joy in everything we do, and that in every thing we do, our femininity is always with utmost pride.

FEMINISM is all about the choices we make as a dignified woman.

Whoever says that the feminist furor has finally passed, doesn’t know the other side of the coin.
