Not That Too Many Academics Are Luxury Car Buyers Anyway…

But does this make you want to purchase a Mercedes? Me neither. The point, apparently, is that the S500 has eight airbags. I can only imagine what the gear shift looks like.

They don’t know much about anatomy, do they, if they think breasts are airbags?

I want to react intelligently to this ridiculousness, but I am speechless. Pitiful.

  3. Joseph Slater says:

LOL at the “gear shift” line.

  4. Ann Bartow says:

I thought I was simply making a joke, but do a Google image search on “gear shift” and…yikes.

  5. Joseph Slater says:

    Hey, sometimes a gear shift is just a . . .

    /looks at images/

    Yikes.

  6. Joseph Slater says:

    Yikes indeed.

What do you expect from a company who committed so many war crimes during WWII and to my knowledge has never even apologized? Daimler-Benz the predecessor of Mercedes-Benz avidly supported the Nazis and in return received tax breaks, arms contracts and slaves labor that enabled it to become a world industrial power. It used Jews as slaves and some of the company’s mangers murdered some Jews at a SS plant in Poland. Other crimes on behalf of this company have also been reported during WWII but never corroborated.

If this is a real publishes add? I wonder what the glass ceiling at MerBenz Company looks like. Or did women at the top look at this and think it was ok? Or are they so desperate at MBC that they are willing to alienate thinking people. This car must be so bad that they have to distract the buyer in this way…or even worse help him to feel”safe”?
