Early Election Returns

As Obama is now slated to become the next President of the United States, it appears that voters in South Dakota and Colorado have voted down the anti-choice ballot measures that were up in their states.   Now we just have to wait for California’s anti-choice provision and anti-marriage provision.   If they lose, this will be an amazing night for the left and feminism.

According to CBS tonight, news leaking from the campaign shows a long list of MEN for key cabinet positions. http://tinyurl.com/64le7f

  3. It would be an impossible standard to hold any politician to to insist that every one of his/her supporters not be racist/sexist/homophobic/etc. In fact, it’s really quite an absurd notion. Maybe if the universe of supporters were 2, but when we’re talking 62M+ and counting, I’m sure there’s going to be lots of supporters who have many abhorrent faults and make those faults very clear.

On the other hand, it’s quite legitimate to complain if his cabinet is not representative. Supporters need to keep pressure on him to make sure that happens, but this list coming from CBS is not his cabinet.
